Meal Options
We offer three distinct options to accommodate your dietary needs during your stay:
- Pescatarian and menu adjustments (no extra charge)
Your Personal Concierge will provide you with the dinner menu each day from your chosen dining restaurant. We can treat your requirements as pescatarian needs, and our culinary team can make any necessary changes to our existing menus. This option has no extra charge.
- Certified Kosher restaurant delivery (extra charge)
Alternatively, or in addition, you may place an order and pay directly to any of the certified kosher restaurants we work with, specifically Moshe Cube and Malka Restaurante.
- We will receive the food, which will be cooked, supervised, and signed by their Mashgiach (Rabbi).
- The food can then be served in the resort’s restaurant of your choice.
- We can reheat the food in the same plates (sealed) or serve it in disposable plates if you prefer.
- This option incurs an additional charge that varies depending on your order, and you will pay the vendor directly.
- Kosher-style in-house preparation (extra charge)
Grand Velas Riviera Maya offers a Kosher-style service at all our specialty restaurants: Lucca (Italian), Frida (Mexican), and Piaf (French).
- Advance notice required: With 7 days’ advance notice, we can order specific raw, certified kosher protein (a list of which is attached, itemized by kilogram/2.2 pounds). We can also send you a list of the kosher options we currently have in the resort if your arrival is sooner.
- Preparation: Our chefs, who are aware of the necessary preparation protocols, will keep and cook the protein to your preference or in the style of the chosen restaurant.
- Kitchenware: We will use kitchenware that has only been used with kosher protein, and we can serve your meals in disposables if needed.
- Important note: Please be aware that our resort kitchens are not kosher-certified, and we do not have a Mashgiach on staff.
- This option has an additional charge depending on the amount of raw protein requested, which will be charged to your suite upon arrival.
